The present simple tense is used to refer to actions or states that are currently true or happen regulaithe present.

 For example, "I study English" is an example of the present simple tense because it refers to an action that is currently true. 

 The past simple tense is used to refer to actions or states that occurred at a specific time in the past and are now completed.

 For example, "I studied English" is an example of the past simple tense because it refers to an action that was completed at a specific time in the past.

 Some examples of the present simple: I wake up early every day. She works as a doctor. They play soccer on Saturdays And some examples of the past simple : I woke up early yesterday. She worked as a nurse. They played soccer last weekend

 It's important to note that, the present simple is often used to talk about future events or actions that are scheduled or arranged in advance, you will use the present simple to indicate that a particular action is scheduled or arranged to happen at a specific time in the future, e.g. "The flight departs at 9 PM." It's also important to use the correct subject-verb agreement with the simple tenses.

 The form of the verb must agree with the subject in terms of number, singular or plural.

 For example, "I am" but "He/She is" and "We are" but "They are" for present simple of the verb "to be" and "I study" but "He/She studies" and "We study" but "They study" for the present simple of the verb "to study"
